I’ve put together a list of products and companies that I trust and use myself. By making purchases from some of these links, My Heart Beets may earn a small commission which helps support the hosting and development of this blog. Hello. I found your site when I was looking for instant pot Indian recipes. The amount of flavor that comes out of these dishes when we use a pressure cooker is amazing! I have been making Indian recipes for over 20 years and never got this level of flavor until I tried your butter chicken instant pot recipe. So thank you for that! I have tried other recipes on your site, and they have all been equally amazing, so you have my gratitude.

If I may make a request, there is a recipe that I particularly like and I would enjoy an instant pot version of it, if you would be willing to help with converting it. I have a recipe book called “50 great curries if India” by Camellia Panjabi. There is a Sindhi recipe in that book that is a version of elaichi gosht. The predominant cardamom and black pepper flavors are unique and delicious! I do not want to post somebody’s published recipe here in the forum, so please let me know how I can get the recipe to you for an instant pot version, if you are up for it. Thanks again and take care!

Hi Ashley, I am newly diagnosed with diebetes and i am finding your recipes truely inspiring. I just wish all the recipes had the nutritional counts.

    Hey Ashley,

We at Maya Mountain would love for you to try some of our products and maybe talk about working together.

Ashley, can you tell me more about Dehydrator? You are recommending Nesco, why do you recommend this Brand over other brands?
Also how do you use Dehydrators for Indian cooking?

I’m loving your blog and Website. I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease and celiac disease. I’m sure I’ll be missing foods that I can no longer eat, but more so I’ll be missing the convenience of some of those foods. I’m interested in the electric pressure cooker (never had great success with a stove-top model). How are you using your new purchase?

    • My Heart Beets says

Dawn, thank you! I absolutely love my Instant Pot – it’s incredible and I use it weekly to make beef stew and also to make hard cooked eggs. I hope to have some videos/blog posts to share soon!

Hey there! Great recipes, and you are local too!

I am also from Morgantown, and for me the hardest part about eating real food is finding it without having to drive to Pittsburgh.

Where do you source your grass fed meats and raw milk around here?

    • My Heart Beets says

Thanks, Travis! I get grassfed meat from Working H farms – they are at the farmer’s market every weekend (including the one this Saturday). As for raw milk, definitely check out The Family Cow. They sell organic raw milk and they have a drop-off point very close to Morgantown. They also have a great selection of meat (though it is more expensive than Working H). As for places to eat, we usually stick to Atomic Grill or Streat Meatz if we want something quick (they’re the new food truck next to Ace Hardware. They get their ground meat from Working H). Hope that helps – let me know if you have any more questions!
