I’ve put together another meal plan for you! Some of the recipes in this week’s meal plan will leave you with leftovers, which are great for those with busy schedules. You can read about four of the recipes featured in this week’s meal plan below and you can check out the rest of the recipes by visiting ALDI’s blog, Hello, Healthy. You can also find the majority of the ingredients used in this meal plan at your local ALDI.
Spicy Apple and Sage Sausage Patties: These sausage patties are made with savory sage, sweet apples and a hint of spicy cayenne. They also happen to freeze well, so feel free to double the recipe so that you can enjoy these patties on busy mornings. I love serving these with a side of soft scrambled eggs and crisp organic apple slices from ALDI.
Honey Mustard Chicken: This is sure to be a family favorite! It’s a recipe that’ll satisfy both kids and adults, and the best part is that you can have it on the table within 30 minutes. Keep it simple and serve this chicken with a side of greens.
Spicy Ground Beef Chili: When I make chili, I prefer to make a large batch because it makes for great leftovers and freezes well. This will easily serve 10 people, so if you’re making this for your family, chances are you’ll have a good amount left to save for a rainy day.
Asian Chicken Salad: This entrée salad has a lot of texture, color and flavor. It’s made up of crunchy cabbage, toasty cashews and sesame seeds, carrots, cilantro, green onions and sweet mandarins. Then it’s topped with a sweet, savory and umami-packed nut butter dressing. I’ve been making this salad every other week – it’s delicious!
