Sweet Ginger Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cashew milk
  • ½ inch knob ginger, grated
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 frozen ripe banana
  • 3 medjool dates, pit removed, soaked in hot water for a few minutes

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Notes

I keep peeled frozen ginger in the freezer. It’s much easier to grate when frozen, though fresh is also fine.
