Spinach Cardamom Smoothie

  • ½ avocado
  • 1 frozen ripe banana chopped
  • 1 large handful spinach
  • 2-4 cardamom pods freshly ground (depends on how much you like cardamom… I love it!)
  • 1 cup milk of choice (I like almond)


  • Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.


If you don’t care for drinking pieces of the cardamom shell, just remove the seeds and finely grind – or use a big pinch of cardamom powder.
