  • 2 pounds tomatillos husks removed and rinsed
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1/2 white onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • handful of cilantro
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt


  • Broil tomatillos, garlic, jalapeno and onion for 10 minutes, flipping the vegetables over at the halfway mark.
  • Pour the roasted ingredients (and juices) into a blender along with the lemon juice, cilantro and salt. Blend until smooth.
  • Serve.
