Here’s a list of the best gluten free restaurants in Pittsburgh! This list is a work in progress so I’ll continue to update it with new finds 🙂
brunch/lunch/dinner
- B52 Vegan Cafe: a favorite spot for brunch with gf options. also have the best specialty almond milk lattes (made with fresh almond milk).
- Gluten Free Goat: 100% gluten free menu. gluten free lunch options + bakery items.
- Cafe Chocolade: 100% gluten free menu.
- Federal Galley: a food incubator. think bougie food court. great spot for kids, close to children’s museum.
- Smallman Galley: similar to federal galley but in the strip district.
- Senyai: awesome thai food. their menu says they use organic chicken!
- Noodlehead: they only accept cash.
- Nicky’s Thai
- All India: they have an all-day buffet and the food is actually fresh. They also list what’s gluten-free and vegan on the labels.
- Square Cafe
pizza:
- Michigan and Trumbull (located in Federal Galley) has gluten-free deep dish pizza! Love their pepperoni pizza with hot honey.
- Pastoli’s in Squirrel Hill.
fast casual
- Choolah: think Indian chipotle. they have the best amish made paneer! They say they are also completely nut-free for those with allergies.
- Aladdin’s Eatery: special diets listed on menu and plenty of gf options.

- Meat and Potatoes: think upscale comfort food.
dessert
- Millie’s Ice Cream: best ice cream in the city. we always go to the Shadyside location. they have a new soft serve spot in Bakery Square that’s awesome.
