Spicy Beef Kebabs

When it comes to the summer, I’m a fan of all things grilled. Kebabs top the list because they’re easy to make and they’re fun to eat. These Spicy Beef Kebabs are tender, juicy bites of meat, marinated with ginger, garlic and spices like coriander and Kashmiri chili. I thread the marinated beef onto skewers, alternating with pineapple, to help balance out the heat. This results in a kebab that’s a little spicy and a little sweet, a winning combination of flavors.

These beef kebabs are a cinch to prepare. You marinate the beef with spices, put them on skewers and grill. They’re delicious and perfect for a cookout with family or friends. If you’re a fan of Indian food, you can grill these kebabs along with my achari chicken kebabs and serve them both with green chutney on the side. How’s that for an Indian meal made on the grill? It’s delicious is what it is.

This past weekend, Roby and I (along with the rest of America) celebrated the 4th of July, which meant a lot of time spent cooking out on the grill and watching fireworks. Along with celebrating America’s birthday, we also celebrated Roby’s dad’s 60th birthday. His family traveled from all over the states to attend – it was a really fun reunion. Below is a pic of the event… can you spot me? I’m the girl wearing BRIGHT yellow.

I’m in the bright yellow – in the back 🙂 Can’t miss me.

I love holiday weekends. I love spending time with family and being outside and eating good food. I think that’s why I like kebabs so much. Because they’re meant to be eaten with people.

Ashley, do you think this recipe would work with lamb instead of beef (only because I am in the mood to do lamb kebabs on our grill this weekend). Love your blog.
