Hi – we love your Under Pressure cookbook…everything we’ve made has been great! Question – the Butter Chicken is fabulous every time – if i want to double the recipe for company, is the pressure time still 8 minutes? Thanks, Larry
Hi Larry, keep the pressure time the same even if you double – the pot will adjust and take longer to reach pressure. Glad to hear you’re enjoying the recipes 🙂
Hi Ashley. It seems the Recipe Index might not be working correctly. When I try to find recipes by ingredient, it only results in one or two recipes. For e.g. Rice resulted in plain rice recipe and aloo pakora. None of your biryani or other rice recipes were part of the search results. I’ve been trying to locate your kichari/kitchari recipe which I had made a while back but can’t find it on the site anymore. Was it taken down? Thanks.
Hi Vishal, thanks for letting me know – I don’t see this happening on my end, do you mind telling me where exactly you’re clicking? Does it say “powered by slickstream?” when you click the magnifying glass? I wonder if it was down for a bit – please let me know if this is still happening if you can. Here is the kitchari recipe: https://myheartbeets.com/instant-pot-khichdi-rice-lentil-porridge/ Thanks so much!
Hi. Am going to make your Mirch ka Achar as I have a mass of chillies this year and many have not fully ripened so still green. All of the ripe ones are going to be either dried and powdered or made into a fiery chilli jam – has been an amazing year for chilli growing here in London !
I like this version of Vindaloo. I increase the garlic and ginger. Add Tumeric. Afetr the second time I bought your book Indian Under Pressure. We carry a 3 qt Instant Pot on our travel trailer. Looking forward to exploring the book on an upcoming trip.
Hi, just bumped here by search for an different okra recipe! Love them and unfortunately hard to get in ordinary supermarkets. Was on the market today when I saw 1 package left; in no time in my basket!😊
Love to have come across yr site; very appealing recipes which I’ll definitely try out! Me too a not measuring type who copies a dish just by taste! Love from The Netherlands! 🤗
