An Apple Themed Dinner Menu

If you love apple season, then today’s blog post is absolutely for you!

Apple season is my favorite season! I consider apples a transition fruit, a gentle reminder that summer is coming to an end and that it’s time to ease into fall. I love seeing apples of all colors pop up at local markets – it gets me into a fall state of mind. I love eating crisp apples on their own (or with peanut butter), and I love cooking with apples too!

A few weeks ago, some local Pittsburgh food bloggers and I got together to have an apple-themed potluck at my house. My friend Quelcy, a food blogger and food stylist, transformed my simple city backyard into something magical. I mean, this dinner scene could easily be in a magazine, right?

In this blog post, I’ll show you some pictures from the event and links to the dishes that were served. So if you want to create a meal or host your own apple potluck, you can check out these recipes for inspiration!
