I’m sharing a roundup of my favorite paleo Indian recipes with you all today! I have a ton of other paleo Indian recipes on my blog as well – but below are my favorites! If you thought that following a paleo diet meant you’d never eat a gulab jamun again… I’m super happy to tell you that you’re wrong! You can eat jalebis and samosas and naan AND follow this grain-free, gluten-free and dairy-free diet!
“That Paleo Indian Blogger”
When I first started blogging, I’m pretty sure I was known as “that paleo Indian food blogger” – at least among the paleo blogging community. After all, I wrote an eBook with 100+ Paleo Indian Recipes called South Asian Persuasion. I’m pretty sure that to date it’s still the only Indian paleo cookbook out there.
I remember pitching my book to plenty of publishers and having to listen to every single one of them tell me my idea was trendy and wouldn’t sell. I was a bit defeated but deep down I knew they were wrong… so I decided to self publish an ebook. Well, it has been several years since I first wrote that ebook and guess what? Thanks to you guys, it’s still selling quite well! It makes me so happy to see there’s an interest because the recipes took me a very long time to create – I mean, gluten-free gulab jamun and dairy-free rasmalai aren’t easy to come up with y’all. You can learn more about my eBook here – including seeing a full table of contents.
These days I definitely consider myself more of a gluten-free blogger but I still have tons of paleo Indian recipes on the blog, and of course in my ebook. I hope you’ll give these a try and let me know what you think!
